What are Veneers

Veneers are thin layers of porcelain, ceramic, or a composite resin that are placed on top existing teeth.  Veneers are not fake or replacement teeth but are an additional material placed on top of existing teeth.  They are used to cover cosmetic concerns such as yellow or discolored teeth, discolored fillings, and gaps.  Veneers can also be used to lengthen teeth and correct any damage the tooth may have sustained due to an accident or root canal.  Veneers will also make teeth brighter and can greatly improve a person's smile.
